A new residential building designed as a light bride to an old industrial brick complex in Prenzlauerberg, Berlin — get acquainted here.
We’re happy to finish and finally present the study of a new local community center called Plecharna — see the project review here. Last week we participated at the public introduction of the Plecharna project to the local inhabitants of the housing estate Cerny Most, the discussion was lively, the photo report from the event is to be found here.
We’ve recently finished a study for an attic apartment that reminded us that Prague really is a city of hundred towers. In fact, one of them is part of the flat and we had a lovely task to design a staircase to its top. Besides that, the project includes the adaptation of the upper floor into an individual unit for younger generation and a partial reconstruction of the lower floor interior. The new design takes inspiration from the location, while it enhances the interior with a more metropolitan and contemporary character.
The reconstruction of the flat in concrete panel building is finished. More about the project here.
Last week, two independent (and our favourite) magazines just released their new issues. By chance you can find our contribution in both of them: Vítek tested a poster graphic-generator in the 8th (congrats!) issue of Komfortmag while the Pedal Project magazine features our project Koláč — a cake-like container for bike parking — that was specially designed for the third issue. You can review this project in our archive, but you should rather go and get yourself a copy of each mag as their content is surely worth it!
The new office space for Aerofilms is finally under construction. More about the project here.
