Canteen City Tower

The reconstruction of the canteen in Prague’s City Tower consists in the transformation of the unsightly and fragmented space of the original canteen into a modern and elegant restaurant with quality gastro services.
The new look is dominated by long counters with rounded corners – an attractive element in the centre of the layout that attracts attention and enhances
smooth service to visitors. The ceiling and all the installations that were previously hidden by the slatted ceiling are now exposed and become part of the design, creating a contrast to the simple and clean furnishings in the interior. To improve acoustic comfort, the the walls and columns are lined with acoustic cladding made of recycled plastic, acoustic panels are also suspended from the ceiling. The original polyurethane floor is completely renovated.
The unified space is suitably complemented by several types of seating, with benches with built-in planters designed around the columns, and community tables and high seating on bar stools appearing in several places.
