House in Satalice

Located in the middle of the existing neighborhood of Prague’s Satalice, we have designed a family house for clients who don’t really want to walk up the stairs, but would still like a cellar. The house is therefore designed as a single storey and partly basement. The simple volume respects the street line defined by surrounding houses as well as the minimum distances from the plot borders. The main glass facade of the house is oriented to the east to a quiet garden with a swimming pool. The individual blocks of rooms are located in the corners of the building and thus define a living space, further divided by furniture sliding doors and connected to a generous covered terrace overlooking the garden.
